Our Team

Who We Are

At Ironwood Builders, our team is intentionally small so we can provide a personal, hands-on experience throughout the entire process.

We work closely with each homeowner from the first conversation through move-in, staying directly involved every step of the way. Throughout the process, you have direct access to our team, ensuring clear communication, consistency, and a well-managed experience from start to finish.

Roger Bumgarner

Owner – Client Experience

Roger works closely with homeowners from the initial meeting through move-in, helping guide the process and ensuring everything stays clear and on track. Having co-founded Ironwood Builders in 2006, he brings years of experience to each project and remains involved throughout the entire build as a consistent point of contact. From the initial meeting to moving day, he is always available to help along the way.

Keith Purdy

Architect – Design Lead

Keith works with homeowners during the design phase, helping shape each home from the early stages. With over 14 years of experience as a registered architect, he walks through options, provides guidance, and ensures the design aligns with both the vision and the way each client lives.

Shane Wenger

Construction Management

Shane manages the construction process. With a strong background in building materials, he brings a deep understanding of product and execution, helping ensure consistency and attention to detail throughout the build.

Our Trade Partners

The subcontractors and suppliers we work with are an important part of the Ironwood team. Building a custom home takes nearly 100 different companies—from excavation to final cleaning—and many of these teams have worked with us for years.

We place a strong emphasis on working with trusted, high-quality subcontractors and suppliers. Long-standing relationships create consistency in both workmanship and communication, while also allowing us to manage pricing in a disciplined and reliable way. These partnerships play a key role in maintaining the quality of the home, the strength of the process, and the overall value delivered.
